I still have a minor issue, if i restart the computer whit an instance
of pcscd still running i have to wait until it is killed and suffer a
little delay. To solve this i think the easiest way is to modify the
start/stop script.
This is because the shutdown script first send a "soft" signal to the
running processes. So that they can exit properly.
This is what pcscd is doing. The pcscd daemon tries to quit properly and
set the reader in a correct state.
I could add an option to exit pcscd directly without any clean shutdown.
That would solve your prolem and you will get a few milliseconds or
seconds at shutdown. But I do not plan to do that.
What reader(s) are your using?
