Package: base-files Version: 6.1 Followup-For: Bug #619605 Since libnss-db exists in a separate package, not installed by default, it seems like the default nsswitch.conf should not reference it. libnss-db could instead configure nsswitch.conf on installation, as libnss-mdns currently does.
I've CCed the maintainer of libnss-db. - Josh Triplett -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages base-files depends on: ii gawk [awk] 1:3.1.7.dfsg-5 GNU awk, a pattern scanning and pr ii mawk [awk] 1.3.3-15 a pattern scanning and text proces base-files recommends no packages. base-files suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
