I was happy to see an update to Debian's gearman package, but
disappointed to find that it was an update to a version that was,
itself, the better part of a year old.
Version 0.18 is current, and includes *numerous* bug fixes, including
buffer overflow bugs:

* Bug fix for compile when no plugins are requested.
* Bug fix where during startup using Drizzle or MySQL the server could crash.
* Bug fix to make sure test programs will run if NULL sized objects are sent.

on the server.
* Bug fixes related to CLI.
* Bug fixes related to Memcached support.

* Fix copyright headers were needed.
