Package: memcached
Version: 1.4.5-1
Severity: normal

Hello, this was originally reported in Ubuntu here:

https://launchpad.net/bugs/681090

Quoting from user "rynop":
> The memcached init.d script only passes DAEMON and NAME when calling
> status_of_proc. It should be passing PID file as well.
>
> status_of_proc -p $PIDFILE $DAEMON $NAME

I have verified this problem exists in 1.4.5-1 in Debian as well.
