Package: iceowl-extension Version: 1.0~b2-4 Severity: important Being french I have events with non ascii characters in my calendar. However, iceowl-extension 1.0b2 is unable to open a calendar with such events.
After discussion on the davmail lists (I access through davmail) and some network sniffing it seems that iceowl does not always encode the non ascii characters in URLs but sometimes sends the raw UTF-8 bytes. (in the REPORT request). That makes it unusable for any people using carddav and some non ascii events. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (900, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (900, 'testing'), (700, 'proposed-updates'), (400, 'unstable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-2-686-bigmem (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages iceowl-extension depends on: ii calendar-timezones 1.0~b2-4 Timezone Extension for Sunbird/Ice ii icedove 3.1.9-2 mail/news client with RSS and inte ii libc6 2.11.2-11 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.6.0-2 GCC support library ii libnspr4-0d 4.8.7-2 NetScape Portable Runtime Library ii libstdc++6 4.6.0-2 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages iceowl-extension recommends: pn calendar-google-provider <none> (no description available) Versions of packages iceowl-extension suggests: pn latex-xft-fonts <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information This message is confidential and intended only for the addressee.
