Package: insserv Version: 1.14.0-2 Severity: wishlist Hello,
I have a requirement to have insserv ignore files created by a local configuration management tool (backups it creates). Currently the list of files to ignore is hard-coded into insserv.c. This request is to make this configurable at run-time instead, to make this sort of usage easier. An example of this being done in another package is logrotate, which has the tabooext list. Thanks, Dominic. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (10, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686-bigmem (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages insserv depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib insserv recommends no packages.
