Hi, I cannot install the package due to a checksum problem. Downloading the archive from Adobe yields this checksum: $ sha512sum /tmp/install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz acec4970201c108457bd8935095d524ec45d47de9f723e1ac3618191cd2ba2c04fe6f604dd7f91776cce753e9cc447f4a6ef3535feef246eee77862ce9805031 /tmp/install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz But trying to install the package gives: ... 4750K .......... .......... .......... .......... .......... 98% 660K 0s 4800K .......... .......... .......... .......... .......... 99% 691K 0s 4850K . 100% 2362G=7.1s 2011-04-15 23:26:16 (679 KB/s) - `./install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz' saved [4967668/4967668] ERROR: sha512sum rejected install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz More information might be available at: http://wiki.debian.org/FlashPlayer Processing triggers for man-db ... Maybe Adobe released a new version of this software? In any case, not being able to install the latest flash player does usually leave users with a gaping security hole. In this case, as the checksum file is from March 22nd, could be wrong since in the meantime, Adobe might have released a new version.
