Hi, can you please explain why you have tagged this bug wontfix? As it stands, I can see that people aren't willing to have a suid binary. However, I think there might be another solution, involving a group and appropriate group permissions on the files /usr/bin/apm relies on. Before I start investigating how feasible this is, I'd like to know if there is any hope of this functionality being accepted into the apm package. -- Jon Dowland
