This was fixed by
  http://libburnia-project.org/changeset/3537/libburn/trunk
Released 16 Jan 2011 as libburn-1.0.0 resp. GNU xorriso-1.0.0.
(I am still pondering why i once set it so restrictive.)

Debian currently has libburn-1.0.4 in wheezy, and 1.0.6 in sid.
Both are free of known bugs ... for now.

There are no objections against combining them with xorriso-0.5.6.
One should avoid xorriso/libisoburn-1.0.6 which is still not completely
overridden by version 1.0.8 in the Debian pipeline.

Have a nice day :)

Thomas
