Package: upower Version: 0.9.9-4 Severity: normal Hi,
I own a ThinkPad X201s which allows setting of thresholds for charging the battery (via tp-smapi). This means that my battery is sometimes charged to only 60% and is not charging while connected to AC (because I set it to charge only if it drops below 50%). Now upower thinks (as it is not charging) it is fully-charged: battery present: yes rechargeable: yes state: fully-charged energy: 51.2487 Wh energy-empty: 0 Wh energy-full: 82.6062 Wh energy-full-design: 103.496 Wh energy-rate: 0 W voltage: 12.132 V percentage: 62.0398% That miss-information makes my xfce4-power-manager icon show me a full (100%) battery in the tray and fooling me into thinking it is charged to 100% instead of 60% [this is the reason for severity:normal and not minor].
