Package: rrdtool Version: 1.4.3-1+b1 Severity: important
It appears the last update of the rrdtool package (1.4.3) is not able to work with existing RRD databases. Any invocation of a program from the rrdtool suite yields the following message: ERROR: This RRD was created on another architecture A quick search tells I should try to dump and restore the RRD database, but obviously rrdtool dump can't read the RRD file either, and I don't have rrdtool 1.4.2 available anymore. This is an important issue as it effectively makes rrdtool unusable unless you're willing to loose historical data (or maybe I'm missing something?). -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.27.10-grsec-xxxx-grs-ipv4-32 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages rrdtool depends on: ii libc6 2.13-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.10.2-6 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libdbi0 0.8.3+really0.8.2-1 Database Independent Abstraction L ii libglib2.0-0 2.28.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.3-6 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpng12-0 1.2.44-2 PNG library - runtime ii librrd4 1.4.3-1+b1 time-series data storage and displ ii libxml2 2.7.8.dfsg-2+b1 GNOME XML library rrdtool recommends no packages.
