I would also strongly recommend that packaging - whether simple
debhelper stanzas or complex and tricky buildpath involving more
significantly copyrightable material - be released under a license
compatible with that of the font software being packaged.


in the spirit of DEP5 I'd recommend something like:

Files: debian/*
Copyright:  (C) $date Fred Foobar
License: The Debian packaging is distributed under the same license as
the Font Software.

One more items to think about and discuss for our policy currently being
formed I guess :-)
