Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Hi,
pkspxy was RFAed by it's maintainer (in Cc:), so it's kind of proxy-ROM... The comment from Roland in #515280 was: > I myself do not use these programs any longer and the popcon shows me, > that nearly nobody else uses these packages. > So I think they can be removed from the archive and shouldn't go into > squeeze unless somebody is interested in the package and takes over > maintainership. The pkspxy had last release in 1999, so it's dead upstream and also there's probably no use for the pkspxy now; quoting from year 2000 email from author: > > I'm trying to understand what the advantages of pkspxycwrap are > > over just putting "keyserver wwwkeys.pgp.net" in .gnupg/options. > > There may be none - I wrote pkspxy with pgp versions in mind which > don't have any direct key server support, and to fit my own and a > friend's needs.
