Package: python-ply Version: 3.3-1 Severity: wishlist Hello, I'm working on #555363 to get rid of embedded copy of python-ply from python-pyke. python-pyke ships some tables with _tabversion="3.2" so it can right use python-ply 3.3-1 and also (when it will be packaged) ply 3.4 which use the same table version without rebuilding cached tables. If you can provide a virtual package, e.g. python-ply-X.Y, where X.Y is the required table version, other packages could simply depend on the virtual package, without having to anticipate when the compatibility will break.
