Package: libconfig-model-perl
Version: 1.244-1
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/config-edit

Dear Dominique,

thank you very much for config-edit, I use it a lot with my packages to validate
their Debian copyright files.

In my understanding of DEP-5, license exceptions that are not listed in the DEP
are not forbidden. But currently, config-edit rejects them:

  $ config-edit -application dpkg-copyright -ui none
  Configuration item 'Files:* License exception' has a wrong value:
        enum type does not know 'PHYLIP'. Expected 'Font' or 'OpenSSL'

Would it be possible to accept unknown exceptions the same way unknown
license short names are accepted ?

Have a nice day,
