nsswitch.conf is the debian dist one. mysql isn't chrooted my.conf is also the
debian dist version.
last upgrade to mysql was a while ago, i put mysql-server on hold when i went
through the abi transition because it wanted to remove it and that was just
under a month ago. last mysql upgrade was probably 3 weeks before that.
