I didn't dare asking :), but yeah, absolutely.  I also think that a
"contrib/" dir is the way to go and I hope it will encourage other
people to contribute their notmuch hacks.

Correct, the script depends on a couple of Perl libraries. They are very
common, but still external dependencies. A separate (binary) package is
the way to go, and I believe others have already ask similar separate
packages for the various notmuch frontends.

I'd say that "mail" would still be the best choice.

Let me know how to proceed to push mutt-notmuch to notmuch's contrib/
dir, once ready.
