Hi there, I am afraid this might be related to #619246, but there you talk about removal, and this happens during install. Trying to install myspell-es, I get: ~-root@lem>apt-get install myspell-es [...] Setting up myspell-es (1.11-1) ... Error: update-openoffice-dicts not present or executable. Missing dependency on dictionaries-common? dpkg: error processing myspell-es (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 configured to not write apport reports Errors were encountered while processing: myspell-es E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) I see that /var/lib/dpkg/info/myspell-es.postinst is trying to exectute update-openoffice-dicts, which it can't find. So I look for it and it *seems* to be shipped by dictionaries-common ~-root@lem>apt-file search update-openoffice-dicts dictionaries-common: /usr/sbin/update-openoffice-dicts dictionaries-common: /usr/share/man/man8/update-openoffice-dicts.8.gz But it is no longer there. I dunno if this bug actually belongs in dictionaries-common, as it should ship the script, or if things just changed and you shuld invoke a different script in postinst (which seems to be the case according to #619246).
