Hi, I see this with the latest aptitude (0.6.4-1). The resolving goes on until segfault (after about 30 mins), probably because it is out of memory. I have not been able to get rid of the problem by updating or dpkg cleaning. Normal update/upgrade with apt-get works fine. Tell me if you want logs or other data.
