Hum. I'll have a look at the format of the indexes today or tomorrow,
and I'll let you know. However, I'm not sure I understood completely
what you suggest.

AFAIK, there are not related. At first, I reported a wishlist bug
against freedict to ask for the integration of the ReVo inside freedict.
The maintainer said that at first, we needed to convert the ReVo into a
TEI XML format used for freedict dictionnaries.

So, Ludovic and I looked at this TEI XML format, but discovered that it
doesn't work for the ReVo. The freedict dictionaries are simple
translation dictionaries ("house" => "maison"), and the XML format only
allows to express this simple translations.

However, the ReVo is a real dictionnary: for each esperanto word, it
gives a long definition of the different senses in esperanto, and also
provides the translation in various languages.

The various indexes are just needed to ease searching inside the database.

Sincerly,

Thomas
