I'm actually having a bit of a hard time to understand to see what you
want to accomplish. Are you talking about upstream using pristine-tar
but a different naming convention for tarballs? Is there a usecase for
this/ If so could you add some tests? If so wouldn't we want to be able
to specify the exact format?
