Look at what thinkpad-acpi does in *2.6.39*, instead. It can detect all current ThinkPad ECs just fine, including ones where the factory screwed up, and shipped a pre-release firmware (happened to none other than Keith Packard himself :p). -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
