Yes, please make sure zlib is the default. Some cards allow data on the card to be zipped. This may not be a concern at the moment, but a card issued could start issuing new cards that would fail to work if zlib is not included.
The attached patch does exactly this. Note: It also changes changelog with a "private" release extension. Feel free to change according to your needs.
