Codemirror is a useful Javascript library for creating editors for code in browsers. It has support for many syntaxes, and can do syntax highlighting and indentation. It appears to be packaged in Debian already bundled in the typo3 package, but has uses far beyond that, for example I'd like to use it with my Drupal7 application and the Perl module RDF::Endpoint. I would therefore like to encourage the separation of the codemirror library from the typo3 package into a separate package.
