I'm currently working on cross-building bits of Debian and insserv fails to build. This is for 2 reason: * the cross-build itself (separate bug in a moment) * because debian/rules automatically runs its testsuite even when DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS includes "nocheck", as mentioned in Policy section 4.9.1. Trivial patches to follow in a minute once I've got numbers for the bug reports...
