Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I run stable, and oldstable until I get around to upgrading. When I
have a problem I search the BTS for workarounds, more info, and to
know whether I should file a bug. My practice is to search all bugs,
both archived and unarchived, for the package in question because
that's the only way I can be sure to find bugs that have been fixed
but are not fixed in stable. This returns lots of cruft, bugs that
are fixed in prior releases.

It seems to me that everybody running stable has this problem, and it
only gets worse as time passes and bugs are resolved.

I would like a way to search for all bugs in a package, excluding
those that are fixed in a given release and those prior.

Thanks.
