Package: xorriso Version: 1.0.8.pl00-4 Severity: normal Hi,
there is really a bug with the padding and the cylinder size alignment. It must be a regression after fixing another regression. xorriso-1.0.4 aligns properly. But that seems to be due to a bug that prevented padding at all, and was fixed in 1.0.6. For proper cylinder alignment one currently has to use option -no-pad. In this case one should urge users to avoid CD write mode TAO or to use padsize=300k with their cdrecord compatible burn program. (It is only CD TAO that needs padding due to the Linux Read-Ahead Bug. BD, DVD or CD SAO are not prone to this.) I will now try to fix this flaw. Thanks for testing and reporting.
