By default sphinxsearch logs to /var/log/sphinxsearch but these logs are not rotated, allowing them to grow endlessly and in the end fill up the disk. I'm attaching the config I'm using. It should be easy to install it with dh_installlogrotate. I'm filing this as important because it violates policy 10.8. Cheers, Thijs
