Package: motion Version: 3.2.12-2+b1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Yesterday initscripts update (in testing) introduced /run directory, mounted as tmpfs. Now, on every boot /run binded to /var/run, so now every daemon should create directories it need. `motion' does not create /var/run/motion on its start and therefore fails at creating /var/run/motion/motion.pid. It prevents motion from start. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-rc3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages motion depends on: ii adduser 3.112+nmu2 add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.39 Debian configuration management sy ii libavcodec52 5:0.6.2-0.4 library to encode decode multimedi ii libavformat52 5:0.6.2-0.4 ffmpeg file format library ii libavutil50 5:0.6.2-0.4 avutil shared libraries - runtime ii libc6 2.13-4 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libjpeg62 6b1-1 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libmysqlclient16 5.1.57-1.3 MySQL database client library ii libpq5 9.0.4-1+b1 PostgreSQL C client library Versions of packages motion recommends: ii ffmpeg 5:0.6.2-0.4 audio/video encoder, streaming ser Versions of packages motion suggests: ii mysql-client-5.1 [mysql-clien 5.1.57-1.3 MySQL database client binaries pn postgresql-client <none> (no description available) -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/motion changed [not included] /etc/init.d/motion changed [not included] /etc/motion/motion.conf changed [not included] -- debconf-show failed
