Package: ack-grep
Version: 1.92-1
Severity: wishlist

Upstream helpfully suggests[0]:

To install ack-grep as "ack" instead of "ack-grep", use this command:
sudo dpkg-divert --local --divert /usr/bin/ack --rename --add /usr/bin/ack-grep

Since I can't imagine ever wanting to install:

ack - Kanji code converter

I applied this advice. Unfortunately, ack doesn't check $0 for the
actual program name, hardwiring it instead. This leads to
aesthetically displeasing results such as:

$ ack --thppt
_   /|
\'o.O'
=(___)=
   U    ack-grep --thppt!

I don't think Bill the Cat ever said that. :/
