Yes, but how do I start in a mode that will have networking working but not start X? Once X starts, I can't do anything. It seems that single user/recovery mode in the grub menu does not start networking. In the udev dependencies, it says it breaks linux-image-2.6-* (<2.6.28). Shouldn't that be < 2.6.32? Any help would be appreciated to get out of this without having to reinstall the computer. Brent -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
