Package: krb5-kdc Version: 1.8.1+dfsg This is also Ubuntu bug 801718. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/801718
A Debian patch that introduces IPv6 support for kpropd unconditionally calls getaddrinfo() on KPROP_SERVICE instead of the port passed in by the user with the '-P' option. This prevents a user from running kpropd in standalone mode on a non-default port. I have determined that this bug also exists in Debian by visual inspection of krb5_1.8.3+dfsg-4squeeze1.diff.gz; the Ubuntu package version is 1.8.1+dfsg-5ubuntu0.7, whose base package appears to be gone from the Debian repository. The "Version:" header is my estimate based on Git commit logs; it's the first tag that is a child of the merge commit for debian_kprop_ipv6 (the origin of the patch that introduced this bug). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
