Dear Debian folks,

although having

        $ more /etc/modprobe.d/eee.conf
        […]
        options snd_hda_intel power_save=5

after a boot this option does not seem to have been respected.

        $ more /sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save
        0

This option should be supported.

        $ sudo modinfo snd-hda-intel
        […]
        parm:           power_save:Automatic power-saving timeout (in second, 0
= disable). (int)
        parm: power_save_controller:Reset controller in power save
mode. (bool)

Unfortunately I do not know how to debug this further not knowing how to
find out if this option is passed or not. If this is a bug in
`snd_hda_intel` I am sorry to have chosen the wrong package to report
this bug against and it would be great if you could reassign this.

Thanks,

Paul
