I'm sorry but I'm afraid you must live with that bug in Squeeze. As far as I
know it is a bug in the sip version in Squeeze.
Of the PyQwt examples there are only 2 that fail by this bug. Can you
write your code to avoid the bug?
The other solution is to download the source packages for PyQt4, sip and
PyQwt from Sid and backport them to Squeeze.
