Package: inputattach
Version: 20051019-12
Severity: normal

Up to around two days ago, I could at least get back to using the mouse by
switching to a
console outside X and calling Input Attach like this:

inputattach --daemon -msc /dev/ttyS0

Now even this does not work anymore, neither for X nor for GPM. Restarting GPM
or X (or
GDM) does not help either, I have to reboot the machine.

If I use the other method of calling Input Attach you recommend, the results
are exactly
the same.
