Same issue has been documented in Redhat's BTS: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=539740 and iptraf-3.0.1.tar.gz has been released on 10/5/07 (see ftp://iptraf.seul.org/pub/iptraf/).
