Hi all,
I am suffering from the same problem and can report that starting nm-applet
will immediately show all local APs and will connect as expected while at the same time plasma-widget-networkmanagement doesn't show the APs and won't connect automatically.

So this is probably an issue with the plasma-widget-networkmanagement, not with libdbus-glib-1-2.

Regrads,
Uli
