Not bothering to support XEmacs is perfectly fair, particularly these
days; however, emacs-calfw's emacsen-install script should gracefully
ignore unsupported Emacs implementations (including GNU Emacs 21 or
older if anyone still has it installed) rather than trying and failing
to byte-compile for them.
I'm also concerned that it tries to byte-compile calfw-howm.el if
present rather than leaving that task to emacs-calfw-howm's
emacsen-install script; compiling the file an extra time is no big deal
per se, but doing so from emacs-calfw's script could fail if howm hasn't
been byte-compiled yet, as it's not guaranteed to be at that point.
Could you please address those issues?
