Package: dpkg-dev Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/dpkg-source I would like to have some options for printing the contents of source packages. My initial use-case is printing the list of files present in the debian.tar.gz/diff.gz when building packages to be sponsored. My current method for this doesn't include the files touched by patches in the debian/patches/ directory, but I think a whole set of options would be nice for completeness:
* the contents of the debian/ directory
* the files present in the diff.gz/debian.tar.gz
* the files touched by the diff.gz or the patches in the v3
patches
* the files in the upstream part of the package
* the files in the debian and upstream parts of the package
* the files the whole package that are in either debian or
upstream or touched by diff.gz or the patches in the v3 patches.
