After installing zoneminder I was able to only add new monitors but never edit or delete them (buttons were disabled). Likewise, when adding a new monitor, only the General tab was enabled (making it impossible to include a remote camera, for example, since the "Source" tab is disabled). After searching for this problem I found a solution here http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=69138#p69138 Also the same issue (with the above solution) can be seen at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zoneminder/+bug/806101 I can confirm that changing the path for the javascript files fix these issues.
