Details:
Hello,
a forwarded report from http://bugs.debian.org/598731
If you run a line like this:
ssh root@localhost wget --limit-rate=1k
http://releases.ubuntu.com/9.04/ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso
And then wait for the download to start,
And then press Ctrl+C
Then the SSH session terminates (as expected), but the wget session continues
running in the background on the host, instead of terminating.
I think this might be caused by wget ignoring the SIGPIPE signal when
ssh terminates.
