I also managed to reproduced it, unfortunately, I don't have the time currently to investigate. Moreover, the upstream author does not want to help me fix it because he said that is a Debian specific problem... If someone has a patch for closing this bug, it will be appreciated. If not, I'll work on it as soon as my other priorities are solved (other packages, real life and so on)...
