Package: ipopd
Version: 8:2007e~dfsg-3.1+b1
Severity: minor

ipopd apparently does not support USER/PASS authentication:

-ERR Unknown AUTHORIZATION state command

and APOP doesn't work by default:

-ERR APOP not supported by server

The man page refers to a file md5.txt, which I had to find using dpkg -S
because it belongs to libc-client2007e. Thanks to this file I was able
to get ipod working by creating /etc/cram-md5.pwd.

I think the man page should point out that USER/PASS is not supported
and APOP requires /etc/cram-md5.pwd.
