Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: wishlist Hey,
during a discussion about Debian X bugs, we had a idea which might be interesting. On X (and other packages) the amount of information provided by reportbug is huge (think Xorg.0.log, dmesg etc.). Those are *really* useful for the maintainers but they kind-of hinder the readability of some bug reports. In some cases, when people use reportbug to reply to bugs, the user-mail to reportbug-info ratio is really low, and one has to jump through larges pages of logs to find the next mail with some information about the bug. It'd be nice if those info could be hidden by javascript or something, so one could chose to have them displayed or not. What do you think? I'm not really a javascript wizard so I can't provide a patch, but I still think the idea might be interesting :) Regards, -- Yves-Alexis -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
