Err, why are you building it against liboss-salsa2 if you are on a Linux system? liboss-salsa2 is only meant to be a portability layer for non-linux ports, and it lags behind ALSA quite a lot. So: - on Linux ports, use the plain ALSA - on non-Linux ports, better simply disable ALSA support in mplayer2, and just use OSS.
