Package: gobby Version: 0.2.0-2 Severity: normal
Thanks for packaging gobby. I recently installed it for the first time, and after an initial issue, was very pleased with it. The problem was that it would crash upon trying to open or create a new file. With the help of strace, I determined that this was a result of my libgtksourceview package being too old. After upgrading to libgtksourceview1.0-0 1.2.0-1 everything worked fine. I believe the previous version I had was either 1.0.x or 1.1.x, but I'm unfortunately unable to determine this anymore. It would be nice to have a tighter dependency to avoid other users encountering this problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux trotzdem 2.6.9 #1 Fri Jun 3 23:12:16 CDT 2005 i686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US Versions of packages gobby depends on: ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.1-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.1-6 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libglibmm-2.4-1c2 2.6.1-1.2 C++ wrapper for the GLib toolkit ( ii libgmpxx3 4.1.4-10 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libgnomeprint2.2-0 2.10.3-2 The GNOME 2.2 print architecture - ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.4-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkmm-2.4-1c2 1:2.6.2-1.1 C++ wrappers for GTK+ 2.4 (shared ii libgtksourceview1.0-0 1.2.0-1 shared libraries for the GTK+ synt ii libnet6-1.1-0 1.1.0-2 Network access framework for IPv4/ ii libobby-0.2-0 0.2.0-2 Synced document buffers ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2 2.0.10-3 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libstdc++6 4.0.1-6 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libxml++2.6-1c2 2.6.1-2.1 A C++ interface to the GNOME XML l ii libxml2 2.6.20-1 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
