Yes, this is a bug in conky that has been reported [1] and fixed [2] in upstream git (which I believe affects all archs, not just kfreebsd). Christoph, can you confirm that the upstream patch fixes the FTBFS? Also, if you do manage to build conky successfully with kfreebsd, please let me know how you did it. At the moment, conky seems to FTBFS due to an unrelated issue (see the build log at [3]), which I'm not sure how to fix.
