Package: lintian Version: 2.5.1 Severity: wishlist Policy 3.3 demands that the maintainer address can receive mails from role accounts used in Debian, such as the archive software or the bug tracker.
Sometimes packages which do not use such an address enter the archive, the most popular being Ubuntu Developers <[email protected]> I assume these uploads happen by accident when working on both Debian and Ubuntu. It would be nice if lintian (in Debian) could emit a warning, with the test disabled on Ubuntu or other derivate systems.
