Hello Max, To be honest, I am not fund of the current Description: either, but I inherited from the previous Debian maintainer but, when I have asked upstream about it, they did not object so I let it stand. It is not easy to write a useful and meaningful description. Thanks for your interest in the Debian GAP package.
