I've set upstream author Soren Eberhardt-Biermann as Cc: to this mail.
Please keep it like that in your future emails.

That isn't possible in Debian, to keep embedded libraries. At least,
this would be a very bad practice, and someone could send a bug report
complaining about it (and it would be just right...). So I would like to
avoid it if possible (I'm quite sure it will).

Also, we can't tell if eXtplorer wont work with the new version of
php-text-diff without checking by ourselves. So I think best would be to
just try. Have you seen a difference of API between the old and the new
version of php-text-diff?

If there is a compatibility issue with the new php-text-diff, I think it
is fine to ask upstream to fix it, he has been responsive so far, so it
should be fine.

Soren, can you confirm / deny this with php-text-diff? That would save
us some headaches!

That's great! Do you want me to put both libjs-extjs and extplorer in
collab-maint git, instead of my own Git repo? Do you have an account on
Alioth? If you don't, you should create one.

Thanks again, Roland, for your interest in these packages, that is
really helpful!

Cheers,

Thomas Goirand (zigo)
